Sheffield is in the centre of the UK with great transport links to other major cities. By train, we’re just 2 hours from London and within an hour of Manchester, Leeds and Nottingham.
Sheffield is only an hour and a half from Manchester or East Midlands Airport, so you can easily get to us from overseas or explore other countries.
Getting around
It’s easy to travel around Sheffield. Our campus is a 25 minute walk from the train station, on the edge of the city centre.
You won’t need to go far to find well-known restaurants, major and international supermarkets, cinemas, bars and places to meet your friends.
Sheffield is the perfect city to explore on foot and there’s also easy public transport options to every part of the city. As a student, you’ll benefit from discounted student bus and tram tickets with a Zoom Beyond 18-21 Travel Pass.
If you fancy an outdoor adventure, you’ll have the Peak District National Park on your doorstep with fast public transport options to popular hikes, country houses and tranquil green villages.

International Merit Scholarships
We offer a generous package of financial support for international students including 75 undergraduate scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee and 125 postgraduate taught scholarships worth £5,000 towards the tuition fee. Applications are now open for existing offer holders.
