Membership offer for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

The University of Sheffield Library is happy to offer membership to refugees and asylum seekers, with a tour of Western Bank Library taking place on Wednesday 21 February for those interested in applying.

With the Department of Lifelong Learning, we are hosting a tour of Western Bank Library on Wednesday 21 February, 10:30-12:30. 

The session is particularly aimed at asylum seekers and refugees who can now access external borrower membership of the library free of charge.

The University of Sheffield Library is happy to welcome refugees and asylum seekers to use Western Bank Library. We are offering free external membership that will allow you to borrow up to five books at a time and explore our unique and original library collections. When you apply, just select External Borrower when prompted. International Merit Scholarships

We offer a generous package of financial support for international students including 75 undergraduate scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee and 125 postgraduate taught scholarships worth £5,000 towards the tuition fee. Applications are now open for existing offer holders.
