We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Global Engagement for someone with passion and dedication to supporting both of our teachers and students in ensuring the best possible teaching and learning experiences at the University of Sheffield (TUoS).
You will join our Confucius Institute (CI), one of the most successful international collaborations at TUoS. As Chinese Learning and Teaching Officer, you will report to the CI Director, and will take lead responsibilities for the planning, coordination and delivery of curriculum and quality-control processes of educational programmes at the CI, with both face to face and online programme formats. You will also have hands-on experience in assisting with the running of a supplementary school over weekends.
You will have well developed analytical/problem solving skills and experience in using your initiative to find appropriate solutions whilst working closely within a dynamic CI office team and working collaboratively with about 30 CI teachers. You will have a real commitment to the role and work systematically and methodically with a high level of accuracy in providing an excellent level of service to thousands of the CI students.
