A quick overview of the research in the School of Journalism, Media and Communication
Our school fosters a broad range of research across the fields of journalism, media and communication. It is the home of the Centre for Freedom of the Media (CFOM), the Disinformation Research Cluster and our doctoral students. We also have close ties with the Department of History, as research staff from both departments contribute to the Centre for the Study of Journalism and History.
Our researchers contribute to teaching across all our courses, but predominately feature in our academic masters programmes in MA Global Journalism and MA International Public and Political Communication.
