- Profile
-
Jacqui studied Chemical Biology at the University of Warwick, where she also studied for her Masters degree in Chemistry. She then completed a DPhil in Evolutionary Microbiology at the University of Oxford. It was there that she developed a passion for improving the accessibility of science and scientific research to the general public.
After completing her studies, Jacqui worked part-time at the University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Researcher, alongside working as a private tutor. She then moved to Sheffield to work at HeppSY, evaluating South Yorkshire’s higher education outreach programme, before joining the DLL as a University Tutor in Chemistry and Maths in 2021.
In her home life, Jacqui is kept busy by her twin boys. In the unlikely event that she has any spare time, Jacqui enjoys an ever-expanding board game collection and following (very simple!) crochet tutorials.
