About the cluster

The History and Heritage in East Asia (HHEA) cluster includes historians of China, Japan, Korea and the wider East Asian region from SEAS and across the university, as well as those working with how the past is understood, contested and engaged with. Members of the cluster approach these questions through a number of disciplinary frameworks, including history, critical heritage studies, cultural studies, visual arts, cinema studies, musicology, international relations and more.
