Genetic Disease Research
Your incredible generosity is helping Sheffield accelerate Genetic Disease Research.
New treatments for some of the world's rarest and most debilitating medical conditions are set to be discovered and manufactured in Sheffield.
Thousands of donors and fundraisers have supported the appeal which is helping equip Sheffield’s Gene Therapy Innovation and Manufacturing Centre (GTIMC).
This state-of-the-art facility is one of three cutting-edge hubs in the UK dedicated to the discovery of new genetic treatments.
"Thank you so much for believing in this research and its potential to change lives.
I’ve dedicated my career to unlocking the potential of gene therapy.
To know that individuals like you believe in it just as much as I do, fills me with so much pride. It's a huge incentive for me and my team."
